Chicken Manchurian is a leading Chinese cuisine.

It can be prepared in many ways. It can be cooked either with meat or chicken or beef. The most popular chicken Manchurian is the one that is available with pineapple. Pineapple is well liked because it makes the Manchurian much more attractive and the taste of the Manchurian maximize many fold. It even acts as a make sweet agent thus making the Manchurian a little honey in taste. Vinegar is not popular in this dish as a result it gives a very sour taste but it can be combined if one really likes sour dishes. This dish gets ready in no time to be cooked.

Chicken Manchurian, or Manchurian Chicken, was invented in India in 1975, credited to Nelson Wang.

Wang is a restrainer in Mumbai and is the generator of the familiar China restaurant Garden. His period of being young love of cooking helped him grow up professionally and his China restaurant Garden has earned Abundant awards over the years.
The creation of Chicken Manchurian arrives when Wang was doing job as the caterer of Chinese food at the Cricket Club of India. A customer asked him to create or prepare something dissimilar, something not on the menu. Wang took basic Indian ingredients such as , red onions , green chilies ginger, and chopped garlic. Instead of using black pepper garam masala, he choose for soy sauce and cornstarch alternatively.

Recipe Ingredients

• Chicken Boneless ½ k.g
• Tomato Ketchup ½ cup
• Raw onion paste 1
• Corn Flour as required
• Soya Sauce 2 tbsp
• White vinegar 2 tbsp
• Brown Sugar ½ tbsp
• Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Chili Garlic Sauce 2 tbsp
• Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
• Pine apple cubes 1 small can
• Oil ½ cup
• Green chilies 4

Cooking method

1. Boil tomatoes and then cut them.
2. Heat oil and sauté ginger and garlic.
3. Then add tomatoes.
4. When tomatoes get soft, add chicken, red chili, salt and ketchup.
5. After a while add chicken stock and cook till the chicken is completely cooked.
6. Then dissolve corn flour in a little water.
7. Add it to the gravy stirring constantly.
8. Let it simmer gently till gravy thickens.
9. Serve hot with egg fried rice.
